Grudges Grudge is one of those words that defines itself. Its very sound betrays it meaning. Say it slowly:" Grr-uuuud-ge." It starts with a growl."Grr..." Like a bear with bad breath coming out of hibernation or a mangy mongrel defending his bone in an alley" Grr...." Being near a resentful person and petting a growling dog are equally enjoyable. Don't you just love being next to people who are nursing a grudge? Isn't it a delight to listen to them sing their songs of woe? They are so optimistic! They are so full of hope. They are bubbling with life. You know better. You know as well as I that if they are bubbling with anything, it is anger. And if they are full of anything, it is poisonous barbs of condemnation for all the people who have hurt them. Grudge bearers and angry animals are a lot alike. Both are irritable. - I teared when rookie Lewis Hamilton overtook world champion Kimi Raikkonen for the lead and then the Ferrari crashed out. I cant bear to continue watching the race. It hurts to see a rookie in a rival team win. My heart sunk. Hands covered my face........ Exams results are released!! Introduction to Economics = 78 (Distinction) Statistics 1 = 60 (2nd Upper Honors) Maths 1 = 65 (2nd Upper Honors) Principles of Banking & Finance = 50 (2nd Lower Honors) Principles of Accounting = 50 (2nd Lower Honors) I am really surprised at my Econs marks cos I spent so much time and effort in preparing for it. Did 12 years of exams papers and memorising the format on how to answer them. In the end, my efforts paid off with a distinction for it. For Principles of Banking & Finance, I'm slightly disappointed as I did not hit 60. Partly cos I did 3 theory questions, which IMO harder to score.... Our dears in Dad, Sept 2 – 6 This week Dad led us to 32 students at lagoon. They were all very responsive to the good news. ptL! The Coops finally had a day to do EB. Some days were not that friendly yet JDP group had been consistent with their BS. It’s the start of their rotation leading the group for BS. JP led the group this week & we discussed about Paul’s instructions to Timothy. He led well. Good for a start. ptL! IT Elders also had their BS. Though it rained hard that day we continued on & studied about being Dad’s soldier, athlete & farmer. ptL they have been very attentive & responsive to the lesson. The newbies are getting along well with their OBD sessions. Ghel led the Coops trio on their 2nd OBD session. ptL they all enjoyed the study & Ghel really delivered the message well. There have only been three times when I seriously thought that I was gonna go crazy: -when I felt so guilty about questioning God’s existence that I was in a trance for days -when it happened a second time -when I was sleepless for nights looking for reasons to break up with someone thinking it was really over I don’t question God’s existence anymore or to be precise, have gotten too confident that whatever higher force out there governing the universe likes me. Last week, however, was a close fourth time I honestly, seriously thought I was gonna go lose it. I was pressed by so many duties on all sides that I was wondering when I was gonna snap and go absolutely nuts. I was aware that I was getting cranky and very impatient with most people.
